Amazon Original Series for Kids, The Stinky and Dirty Show

Did you know you can stream videos as an Amazon Prime member? We just discovered an adorable new Amazon original series for kids called The Stinky and Dirty Show. Actually it’s more than just an adorable show, it’s a show with a message for kids to be resourceful and inventive. The 2 main characters, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe, teach kids how they can reuse materials to create something useful and fun! The duo recycle trash to solve problems while creating something new.

A brief synopsis about the show reads…

The adventures of best friends and unlikely heroes, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader, a dynamic and hilarious duo of resourcefulness that learn when things don’t go as expected, asking “what if” can lead to success. Based on books by Jim and Kate McMullan. Written and developed by Guy Toubes.

While watching this with my children, we quickly realized that this is not only a show for preschoolers but for the entire family. It gets the creative wheels turning and gives kids ideas on how they can create something new out of something old! Some things Stinky and Dirty have made are, a motorcycle ramp out of an old door and a sail out of an old tarp. This show will for sure leave you and your kids feeling inspired to experiment with old items and turning them into new masterpieces!
