Who You Gonna Boo? Booing Your Neighbor!?

Fall just started and now Halloween is just around the corner already! Have you guys heard about a new tradition of “Booing Your Neighbor”? Apparently it’s been around for a few years but as always I’m late on the train. Despite it’s title, it’s actually a fun, safe and family-oriented activity and also known as “Ghosting” or “Boo-gramming.” So you basically put together a home decorated bag of treats (I would use a bucket that visibly shows the contents inside), then you include a note with instructions on how to “boo” and deliver to a neighbor, friend or relative. They then have 48hrs to do it do their neighbor, friend or relative which then creates a chain throughout the neighborhood. This is a more clever and fun take on chain letters from back in the day and an activity for the kids to be involved with too!

All of this “booing” just in time too for the release of the new Sony Pictures DVD Ghostbusters Answer The Call, which is now available on Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray. If you are a 80’s baby like me, then you remember Ghostbusters and their catchy song “Who You Gonna Call.” This Halloween after all our trick or treating and after I hide all the candy…we will be curling up on the couch to watch this new movie together. Exciting for hubby and I since the kids have no clue who the Ghostbusters are.

Now get to work in your neighborhood, work or school and start “Booing!”
