Putting Popular Myths to the Test at Liberty Science Center + Giveaway #MTmyth

If there is one must see place to recommend for any family visiting or living in any part of New Jersey, it has to be Liberty Science Center. This has been a place we always come back to for many years since my now 19 year old step-daughter was little. Aside from our favorites such as the Infinity Climber, Touch Tunnel and the incredible view of NYC, I love that LSC keeps it fresh with new exhibits.

We recently were invited by Momtrends to visit the new MYTHBUSTERS: THE EXPLOSIVE EXHIBITION, which you can visit now through September 4, 2017. Some of you may already be familiar with the hit MythBusters TV show and at the exhibit you can see sets and props from the show, experience live demonstrations and even be a participant to test out a popular myth.

During our visit we had a delicious lunch with other fellow bloggers and their families and we headed to participate in a live demo. It was great to see the hosts engaging with the audience, especially the kids. Many of the children there did not hesitate to answer a few challenging Science questions and CJ from DellahsJubilation was super brave enough to test the myth of dodging a paint ball. You’ll have to watch the vlog to see what happens!

After the show, we got to check out the full exhibit and get hands on with many of the myths tested on the show. My kids and their friend especially loved testing out if you get wetter running or walking in the rain and my eldest almost beat the record on the cliffhanger.
