I look forward to the day that my own kids will cook me a delicious meal from scratch. Cooking has never been my thing…but my kids gotta eat, so it must get done! Luckily my kids developed a huge interest in cooking since they were little. I honestly have their Dad, Grandfather, Grandmother, cooking shows & you tube videos to thank for that. Lord knows I’m no gourmet chef…the easier the recipe for me the better.

Attention to my fellow Vegas Moms with kids that have a love for cooking! Join us for afternoon at Macy’s in Downtown Summerlin on Saturday September 9th 2-4pm with master Chef Rick Bayless for a kid-friendly cooking demo. Kids ages 10-16 will learn how to prepare some of his favorite award-winning dishes, including chipotle chicken tinga tacos! best part? There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy! Event is only $10 AND you will receive a $10 Macy’s gift card when you check in, RSVP here! Also with any purchase* of $35 or more in the Home department will get you a special gift, and a copy of the More Mexican Everyday cookbook, which Chef Bayless will sign for you after the class!** Hope to see you and your kids there!
