The 411 Mommas

Last September 2011, a fellow mommy You Tuber Michelle from (mfoiles7) approached me with the idea of starting a new collaboration mommy channel. She told me she was looking for someone to start and run the project with her and immediately thought of me. I was completely flattered with such a compliment but even more excited at the overall idea of the channel. Since the project was still brand new, we wanted to add at least one more momma to get it launched. Luckily enough for us one of our personal favorite You Tubers Catherine from (cookiepartyy), had just as much enthusiasm for the channel as we did. So in October, the channel was officially launched! Like anything that’s new, it takes time to get into the groove of things. This is why we chose to wait a few months until adding more members.

Which brings me to the exciting news of our official announcement of the NEW mommas! For 3 weeks in January, we held open auditions and had some amazing responses. Initially, we didn’t expect as big of a response as we received and thought we might only add 1 or 2 new members. However, the women showed so much passion and brought so much to the table that they actually inspired us to expand the channel even further than we had anticipated. Regretfully, we wish we could have added all 13 women who auditioned, but we wanted to keep it down to 2 weeks’ worth of Mommas for video rotation as of now.

Over this past week, I have been working closely with all 10 new mommas and I am overjoyed at the amazing teamwork we have so far. We have an abundance of ideas and share such a love for helping others and each other. I truly believe in this channel and all of us, the best is yet to come for sure.
