Keeping Kids Entertained Indoors with Scribblenauts Showdown

It seems the days and hours of actually playing outdoors grow less and less for our kids today. Technology and electronics are such an important part of their lives today, weather in the school on computers or on game consoles, phones, tablets and ipads at home or outside the home. But…it doesn’t have to be a bad thing especially if their time spent on an electronic is something fun and educational. Personally, I think limiting their time and monitoring what they are playing is super important. And of course to make sure they get outdoor playtime too!

However during cold months, it can get challenging for them to stay outdoors. Especially with 4 kids, I often find it hard to find activities for them to do together indoors that won’t soon end in an arguement. Cue in Scribblenauts Showdown, a new video game that challenges your childs vocabulary and is great for 1-4 players! Talk about a perfect game for families of multiple kids to play together or with friends! There are two party game modes, Showdown and Versus. They can also join each other in the Scribblenauts Sandbox to complete achievements and watch their objects come to life. Players can conjure objects from the vast dictionary of over 35,000 words to outsmart their opponents or let their imaginations run wild. They can even customize their own unique Scribblenaut, which adds to the fun for them even more!
